Mae Mrs. Mae Couch Rivers of Franklin, GA (formerly of the Fife Community) passed away on July 15, 2009. Mrs. Rivers was preceded in death by her first husband, Lewis E. Harper, her second husband, Claude A. Rivers and her son, Albert Harper. She is survived by her daughters, Louise Sheffield of Franklin; Dorothy Nichols of Fayetteville; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Harper of Fayetteville; sons, Len Harper and his wife Cheryl of Palmetto; Edward Harper and his wife Carol of Fayetteville; sister, Inez Price of Forest Park; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 17, 2009 at 11 o'clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Dr. William O. (Bill) Priester officiating. Interment to follow at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make a donation to the Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 607 Rivers Rd., Fayetteville, GA 30214. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Parrott Funeral Home and Crematory, Fairburn, GA
