Lillie M. Burkett, 81, 211 McKee St., died Monday, Oct. 19, at Lake Cumberland Medical Center after a six-month illness.

Born June 10, 1900, in Faubush, she was the daughter of William Albert and Sarah Coomer Bland.

She was married June 30, 1921, to Henry T. Burkett, who preceded her in death.

Survivors are four sons, Eyvind, William A., Jerry and Jimmy Burkett, all of Somerset; five daughters, Mrs. Dan Boyer, Charleston, S.C., Mrs. Delrue Bland, Mrs. Don Whitaker, Mrs. Wilson Mink and Imogene Burkett, all of Somerset; 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Immanuel Baptist Church with the Reverends James M. Blackerby and Burney Manning officiating.

Burial will be in the Mill Springs National Cemetery.

Visitation will begin after 5 p.m. today at the Somerset Undertaking Company.
