At Mary's Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 28, 1890, Fr. Kehoe officiated the wedding of Adolph and Lina (Anna), both of Norway. The groom is well and favorably known here, being a brother of our chief of the fire department, and the bride is the 2nd daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Reinwand, of the Norway Mine and a sister of Mrs. Frank Ahlich. The young couple will make their future home in the Pine Creek Settlement where they have a farm , and The Current Newspaper wishes them good luck generally. Good friends, good nature and good looks they already possess.
Mrs. Lena Ahlich, 61, died at 10 yesterday morning at home, 513 Mine Street after an illness of several months. She came to Norway 65 years ago. There are 6 daughters: Mrs. Phil Jossens, Mrs. Helen Conta, Mrs. William Frehse, Mrs. Lucille Vukuoich, Mrs. Edmond Mellon and Myrtle; 2 sons: Clifford and George; 21 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
