Her parents were the late Lewis E and Vera Mae Dixon Carter. Services were July 8 at 2 pm at Ripley Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Tippah Memorial Garden. Dr Albert Wilkerson and Dr Jack Bennett officiated. Survivors include her husband, Billy L. Davis, Ripley; two sons, Terry Davis and wife, Vickie, and Bobby Davis, both of Ripley; two brothers, Eugene Carter, and Donald Carter and his wife Sue, both of Ripley; two sisters, Sylvia Barkley and her husband Robert, Ripley and Jane Rowland and her husbant, Pete, Bolivar, TN; 4 grandchildren, Michelle Davis, West Memphis, AR and Jeff Davis, Lauren Davis and Liz Davis, all of Ripley. Pallbearers were Lon Pickens, David Carter, Trent Carter, Junior Boyette, Joe Martin, Don Cousar, Gerald Gay, and F.L. Dunnam.
