Eugene is survived by two sons: David Carter (Becky) of Ripley, MS, Glen Carter (Lisa) of Tiplersville, MS; one daughter: Dana McCormick (Ray) of Essex, MO; two sisters: Sylvia Barkley (Robert) of Ripley, MS, Jane Rowland (Pete) of Bolivar, TN; one sister-in-law: Sue Carter (Donald) of Ripley, TN; grandchildren: Maria Carter of Kossuth, MS, Julie Davis (Russell) of Ripley, MS, Brigitte Andree of Oklahoma City, William Andree of Kansas City, MO, Lindsay Cox (Sean) of Beaver, PA, Paige Rodriguez (Ryan) of Sikeston, MO; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Lewis and Vera Mae Carter; his first wife Peggy and mother of David and Glen Carter and Dana McCormick; one sister: Nora Davis (Billy); one brother: Donald Carter.

Dr. Jack Bennett will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be: Terry Davis, Trent Carter, William Andree, Homer Richardson, Ray McCormick, Jamie King.
