CLARKSVILLE — Dalton Cleo Duffee, 79, of Bogata passed away Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at his residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3 in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown and Rev. Billy Daniels officiating. Burial is to follow in Cuthand Cemetery.
The family receives friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Clarksville Funeral Home.
He was born in Cuthand July 9, 1930, to Gilbert and Alma Hamilton Duffee. He was retired from Red River Army Depot and was a member of the Avery Missionary Baptist Church.
His was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Andra Kay Duffee; two sisters; five brothers; and one step-grandson, Chris Lee.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Bishop Duffee; one son, Don Duffee and wife, Cindy, of Boyle, Miss.; two stepsons, Jerry Lee and wife, Janice, of Avery and Ronnie Lee and wife, Cindy, of Havervill, Mass.; three daughters, Sandra Joyner and husband, Burt, of Texarkana; Jeannie McGuire and husband, John, of Clarksville, Arnita Cavender and husband, Ricky, of Lovelady; one stepdaughter, Becky Ward and husband, Wayne, of Queen City; three sisters, Zela Putteet of Bogata, Hazel Woodall and Panzie Willingham of Dallas; six grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren; special friend, Billy Williamson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are to be Horace Robison, Michael Jackson, Jerald Smith, Heath McGuire, Rob Jones and Paul Vasquez.
