Born in Crosswicks, Mrs. Thompson lived in Hopewell for 44 years.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel B. Thompson; a son and daughter-in-law, John "Jack" and Elaine Thompson of Warrensburg, MO., a brother, Harry Carr of Bridgewater, and two grandchildren, Travis and Robyn Thompson of Warrensburg.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday from Blackwell Memorial Home, 21 N. Main St., Pennington, with the Rev. Thomas Martin, pastor of Central Baptist Church of Ewing, officiating.
Burial will follow at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Central Baptist Church, 2015 Pennington Road, Ewing.
