Halls - J. H. Brown, 86, farmer, died Saturday at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Halls First United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the Methodist Men's Club and choir, with burial in Halls Cemetery. Halls Funeral Home has charge. He was a World War II Army veteran. Mr. Brown, the widower of Mary Ferne Brown, leaves four sons, Bobby Brown of Mason Hall, Paul Brown of Trenton, Charlie Brown of Dyersburg and Tim Brown of Hobe Sound, Fla.; a sister, Ruth Wilkes of Dyersburg; a caregiver, Minnie Throgmorton of Halls, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Methodist Building Fund.
