HALLS - Mrs. Fern Brown, 70, died Tuesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital- Lauderdale in Ripley. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Halls First United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with burial in Halls Cemetery. Halls Funeral Home has charge. Mrs. Brown, the wife of J. H. Brown, also leaves four sons, Robert Griffin Brown of Masonhall, Paul Henry Brown of Trenton, Charles David Brown of Dyersburg and James Timothy Brown of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; a sister, Ms. Edmonia Ashmore of Halls, and six grandchildren.
