Dona May Parker is the daughter of Henry Taylor Parker (1852-1924) and Mary Emma Maret (1845-1913). She married James Fouts (1852-1942) on 20 December 1920 in Gordon County, Georgia.

MRS. DONA FOUTS DIES THURSDAY
Mrs. Dona Fouts died Thursday at 6 a.m. at the Gordon County Hospital
Mrs. Fouts lived her entire life in Gordon County. She was the former Miss Dona Parker. Her husband preceded her in death in 1941. She was a member of the Blackwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include two brothers, S. T. Parker, Rome, and C. C. Parker, Henegar, Ala., several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are to be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Blackwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Ensley and the Rev. Solon C. Couch officiating. Burial is to be in the church cemetery..
Pallbearers to serve include Bobby Erwin, Otis Parker, Henry Parker, Coley Stone, Aubrey Porch and Barton Bowen.
The body is to remain at Thomas Funeral Home until the funeral hour.

Mrs. Fouts Dies in Calhoun; Rites Friday
CALHOUN--Mrs. Dona Founts, a life-long resident of Gordon County, died at 6 p.m. today.
She was a member of the Blackwood Baptist Church. She was the former Miss Dona Parker. Her husband, James Fouts, preceded her in death in 1941.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Blackwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Ensley and Rev. Solon B. Couch officiating. Interment will be in the Blackwood Cemetery.
She is survived by two brothers, S. T. Parker of Rome, and C. C. Parker of Henegar, Ala. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Thomas Funeral Home of Calhoun is in charge of arrangements.
