Mary Emma Maret is the daughter of Joberry Earl Maret (1817-1892) and Lucinda Isbell (1819-1900). She first married a Mr. Grant in South Carolina. She came with her parents to Gordon County, Georgia, in the early 1870's and married second to Henry Taylor Parker (1852-1924) on 2 November 1873, in Gordon County, Georgia.

MRS. PARKER DEAD
Mrs. Henry Parked died at her home near Blackwood Springs Saturday Feb 1. Mrs. Parker was only sick a few hours, her death was a shock to her many friends. She was near 70 years old. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She leaves a husband and nine children to mourn her departure.
