"Mrs. Anotonette(sic) Mantamant, a respected citizen of Biloxi, died yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. R. Haas at 649 Lameuse street. She was 69 years old and was well known throughout Biloxi. Mrs. Mantamant was a native of New Orleans, but had lived in Biloxi for the last eight years. The funeral was conducted from the residence of her daughter on Lameuse street this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The obsequies were conducted at First Evangelical Lutheran church by Rev. E. C. Banks, the pastor. Interment was in the Biloxi cemetery."
Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Records, Book 6, page 4: Antonette, a widow, was 69 years, 3 months, 3 days when she died from "valvular insufficiency". Her father, Joseph Noggerath, and her mother, Teresa Oberhauser, were natives of Germany. Robert Haas paid for her funeral.
