Graveside rites for Bobbie Jane Alexander Watts, 74, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at Rose Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Donny Custar officiating. Born on Oct. 31, 1929, in Ardmore to the late Arch and Dessie V. Bowling Alexander, she died on July 25, 2004, at her residence. A graduate of Ardmore High School, she worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 21 years before she retired in February 1985. She was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America. She and James C. Watts were married on Jan. 29, 1948, in Ardmore. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Curtis Bailey; and a sister, Joyce Miller, on June 11, 2000. Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, James Michael Watts and his wife, Uwannah, Ardmore, and Cory Watts and his wife, Danette, Fox; a sister, Donna Maynard, and her husband, Gary, West Des Moines, Iowa; granddaughters, Mika Danielle Watts and Danielle Nicole Morris; a great-granddaughter, McKenzie Danay Williams; nephews, Travis Grant Maynard, Curtis Wayne Miller, Paul Edward Miller, James Kelly Ralls and Rodney Arch Ralls.
