Death of Edward T. Rodgers Edward T. Rodgers died very suddenly at his home near Saegertown Monday afternoon about 1:30 o'clock while engaged in mowing the lawn. Mr. Rodgers was born in Hayfield township on the same farm where he died. He was a kind and congenial neighbor and enjoyed a wide acquaintance who will be shocked at his sudden death. His wife, Mrs. Theresa Rodgers, preceded him in death just six months ago. Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. William Davern, of Meadville, three sons, Mervyn, of Warren, O. and Robert, of Girard, O. and Samuel, at home. Funeral services will be held from the Roofner funeral home, 853 South Main Street, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock Eastern standard time, followed by interment in the Saegertown cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home any time after noon Tuesday.
