Glenns Ferry - Services for Etta L. Eichholz, 83, Glenns Ferry, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Glenns Ferry Baptist Church by the Rev. Larry Maxwell. Smith Mortuary of Mountain Home is handling services. She died Tuesday at Mountain Home nursing home. Interment will be at Glenn Rest in Glenns Ferry.
She was born Etta Latty on June 18, 1887, in Oklahoma and came to Glenns Ferry in 1897. She was married to Earnest Eichholz April 19, 1904. He farmed near Glenns Ferry and also carpentered. He died July 28, 1964.
Survivors include five sons, Paul Eichholz, Anchorage, Alaska, Fred and Arthur Eichholz of Nampa, and George and Albert Eichholz of Glenns Ferry: four daughters, Mrs. Emma Hall and Mrs. Frieda of Glenns Ferry and Mrs. Nellie Koontz and Mrs. Margaret Estes of Baker, Ore.; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Bullock, Glenns Ferry, and Mrs. Minnie Bragg, La Grande, Ore.; a brother, John Latty, Boise; 33 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
