Andreas K Brandvold of Clearbrook passed away Sunday March 5, at 8 pm in Leon Township. He was born August 15 1861 being 77 years, 6 months, and 17 days at the time of his death.
He was born in Osterdalen Norway and in 1887 at the age of 26 came to the United States and settled in Dalton Minnesota. He spent ten years living in Ottertail County and then proceeded on to Clearwater county in 1899 where he took a homestead and made his home until his death.
On October 18 1891, he was united n marriage to Gudlaug Jordmoen and to the union was born five children. A son, Bennie, preceded him in death in 1914. Those who survive him are his wife and Sarah Engen of Clearbrook, Christian Brandvold, also of Clearbrook, Mary Leet of Bingen Washington and Selma Buness of Fosston. Also 14 grandchildren.
