Sarah (Carr) Frick--was born in 1848, in Stark County, Ohio.
The Daughter of Daniel and (-) (Snyder) Carr, of South Bend, Indiana.

On Oct. 13, 1867, in South Bend, Sarah married Samuel Frick. The son of Abraham and Sarah (Kring) Frick, of South Bend, IN. Sarah and Samuel was married for a short time , and then divorced, but then remarried on the 20th of December 1902

The Frick's made their living by farming, working the land Samuel bought after returning from the Civil War.
The Frick's were God fearing folks, and were members of The Church of the Brethren of St. Joseph County, Indiana

The union of Sarah and Samuel was blessed with six children:

Hattie; (1868-___), Died in California.
Elsie L.; (1869-1950)
Delbert D.; (1872-1973)
Gertrude M.: (1874-1953)
Clyde M.; (1876-1944)
Minnie A.; (1882-1961)

On Sept. 21, 1904, in her home in South Bend, Sarah passed away, after a short illness, surrounded by love ones

Both Sarah and Samuel were buried in Bowman Cemetery, South Bend, Indiana.

Funeral Note; South Bend Tribune, Sept 24, 1904
The funeral of Mrs. Samuel Frick will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Oscar Emberlin, 1523 Kimble avenue. The remains will be laid to rest in the Bowman cemetery, Rev. Dr. Cooper, pastor of the First Baptist Church will officiate.
