Minnie Lee Beacham Cartrette, 98, widow of Robert Lee Cartrette, died Nov. 5, 2003, at Piedmont Nursing Center.

A native of Greenville County, a daughter of the late Rev. Hartwell and Lou Della Burgess Beacham. She was a retired employee of Pacific Mills and was a member of Lyman United Methodist Church, where she was a teacher of the Ladies Bible Class for many years. She was a member of Hampton Lee Chapter No. 1281 of the U.D.C. and was a lifetime member of U.M.W. Her first husband was the late Louis Ansel Lynn.

Surviving are three sons, Adrian Lynn Sr., of Greer, the Rev. Philip Cartrette, of Jackson, Miss., and Hartwell Cartrette, of Prosperity; two daughters, Jackie Lenhart, of Hilton Head, and Caroline Harvey, of Greer; three sisters, Nell B. Dill, of Landrum, and Lucille B. Howard and Billie B. Quemere, both of Taylors; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Cartrette was predeceased by a son, W.F. Lynn.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by the Rev. Donnie Padgett, the Rev. James W. Hatchell and the Rev. Philip Cartrette. Burial will follow at Wood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of her daughter: Caroline Harvey, 4 Rollingreen Drive, Greer.
