BEREA, SC - Joseph Floyd Beacham, 64, of 2 Luray Drive, Richmond Hills, died of natural causes April 17, 1989, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Asheville.
He was a retired machinist with Metal Fabricators in Mauldin, a veteran of World War II, and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his wife, Frances Nix Beacham of the home; a stepson, Donald Benny Nix of Greer; a brother, Paul Beacham of Ware Place; and seven sisters, Minnie Cartrette and Pearl Taylor, both of Lyman, Grace Howard and Nellie Dill, both of Landrum, Lucille Howard of Greer, Blanche Chastain and Billie Quemere, both of Blue Ridge.
Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday at The Howze Mortuary Chapel, Travelers Rest, with burial in Grand View Memorial Gardens, Travelers Rest.
The family is at the residence.
