Mrs. Ruby L. Strimple Services Held In Ohio
Mrs. Ruby L. Strimple, 74, of Warren, Ohio, died January 7, at the Gillette County nursing home in Warren, Ohio.
She was born in Calhoun county, February 21, 1898, daughter of the late Robert J. and Lillie Mace Knotts. She was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist church near Orma.
Her husband, Nelson Cecil Strimple, a holder of the Diamond Carnegie Medal, died in 1966.
She is survived by one son, Edward E. Strimple of Warren; two sisters, Pansy Baker of Sebring, Florida, and Daisy Stump of Grantsville; three brothers, Robert J. Knotts, jr., of Stumptown, Walter A. Knotts and Henry E. Knotts, both of Massillon, Ohio; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers.
Funeral services were held at the Staton, Gillen, Larkers funeral home in Warren on January 10, with the Rev. James D. Smidth officiating. Burial followed in the Jackson cemetery at Coitsville, Ohio near Youngstown.
