Fred Austin, 77, of 113 Clark Ave., died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2001, at Allen Bennett Hospital.
A native of Greer, he was a son of the late J.W. and Lena Creamer Austin. Retired: State Auto Insurance Co.
Survivors: Wife, Alicia "Pat" Taylor Austin; a daughter, Jeannie Mosteller,of Greer; a son, Terry Austin,of Columbia; a brother, Bill Austin,of Greer; sisters, Connie Sipe of Hickory, N.C.,and Venice Burgess of Lexington; and three grandchildren.
Service: 3 p.m. today at First Baptist Church. Burial: Wood Memorial Park.
