Earnest Everett Parnell, 77, of Norfork, a farmer and a resident of Baxter County most of his lifetime, died Sunday at the Baxter General Hospital.
Mr. Parnell was born Feb. 25, 1896 at Hermitage, Mo., the son of Sol and Elizabeth Robinson Parnell. He was a World War I veteran.
Survivors include two brothers, Rudolph Parnell of Norfork and Randolph Parnell of Mountain Home; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Southard of Mountain Home; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and one sister.
The funeral service was conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Galatia Church, near Norfork. Rev. Mack Gore, pastor of the Assembly of God Church of Mountain Home. officiated and interment was in the Galatia Cemetery, under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Tom Parnell, Lawrence Parnell, Keith Parnell, Everett Parnell, Jerry Parnell, and Sylvester Parnell.
