Mr. Marshall Harvey Retalic, 48, of 402 Polk Avenue, Augusta, Georgia, entered into rest at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning, August 23, 1949, in a fall from a tower atop the Enterprise Mill. Funeral services will be held at Elliott Sons chapel Thursday afternoon at 5 o'clock with the Rev. C.A. Dabney officiating. Interment will be in West View cemetery. Pallbearers will be Freddie Ayers, Dick Newman, Bob Retalic, Steve Pardue, Jack Priestly and Doll Hammett. He is survived by two sons, Marshall Retalic of Palatka, Fla., Joe William Retalic of Miami, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Mason of Augusta, Miss Ruth Retalic of Palatka, Fla., Mrs. Margaret Ackerman of Miami, Fla.; one grandchild; one brother, Lewis Retalic of Augusta; and one sister, Mrs. Edith Pardue of Augusta. Mr. Retalic was born in Columbia county but had been a resident of Augusta practically all his life.
