Coy Lee Reddell of Weatherford passed away Oct. 26, 2009 at the age of 79. He was born Nov. 23 1929 in Oklahoma to James William Reddell and Jesse Jewel Helton. On Nov 14, 1953 he married Flora Edna (Sissy) Thomas.

On May 5, 1948 at the age of 17, Coy enlisted into the United States Army. He remained in the army until his retirement in 1977. He then Worked as an electrician for the City Of Weatherford until he retired in 1992.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Rocky Lynne Reddell Wallace, a sister Jessie Vear Reddell Roden and a brother Jackie Royce Reddell.

He is survived by his sons Coy Lee Reddell Jr and Patrick Dion Reddell of Weatherford Texas, a Sister Helen Reddell Walker of Mineral Wells Texas, a brother J W Reddell of Mineral Wells Texas, a grandson Shaun Lee Wallace Of Mineral Wells Texas, a grand daughter Shannon Leigh Wallace of Wichita Falls, several neices, and nephews.

Graveside services with full military honors will be Friday Oct. 30, 2009 at 10:30 am at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
