Mrs. Catherine Albright.
The Roaring Spring correspondent to the Altoona Tribune writes: On Monday, November 18, 1895, Mrs. Catherine Albright, the wife of Samuel B. Albright, departed this life after a lingering illness, aged 78 years. Mrs. Albright was the daughter of Jacob Cowen. Her grandfather, Edward, was one of the pioneer settlers in this locality about a century ago or more. He was located on the farm now owned by Miss Annie Cowen, on the Pattonsville and Woodbury turnpike, about a mile south of Roaring Spring. She was a member of the German Baptist church and a kind hearted Christian lady. Her husband and three children mourn her departure. Funeral services were held yesterday and her remains were laid to rest in the German Baptist cemetery, near Roaring Spring.
