Funeral service for W. H. Henderson, 59, who died at his home, 608 West North Str., yesterday after a long illness, were held this afternoon at Ward-Wilson chapel with the Rev. A. D. Zooden officiating. Interment in the Beulah cemetery was directed by Ward-Wilson.
Surviving are a son, Willie J. Johnson, Apalachicola, Florida, One daughter, Mrs. Willie Hobbs, Dothan, a brother, Frank Henderson, also of Dothan; three sisters, Mrs. Gussie Johnson, Apalachicola, Mrs. Shelby Cunningham, Dothan, and Mrs. Allie Ree Hancock, Baltimore, and several nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers were Doss Kelly, Otis and Moate Mixon, Harvey Convington, Alton Adams, and Dock Newton.
