Mr. Smith served 24 years in the Marine Corps, retiring this month, and was a former Fire Chief of Lizton-Union Township Fire Department. Services were Tuesday, December 27, in Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown. Rev Raymond Rader officiated, with burial in Lizton K of P Cemetery. Surviving are wife, Diana; sons, Todd A. and Randy L. Smith; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Smith, Lizton; grandmother, Mrs. Rose Burnette, Salem; brothers, Roy L.
