"Minda Fredricksen Davis was born March 14, 1903 at Spring Creek, Thayer County, Nebraska. There and later in Ruskin she spent her childhood days. After her parent's death she lived some time with her sister at Fairbury where she graduated from high school in 1922. She moved from Fairbury to Dalton, Nebr. where she taught school three terms. In November 1923 she was united in marriage to Mr. Harold Davis.
Mrs. Davis had not been well the last three years. She passed away from her dear ones on the morning of August 20, 1925, having attained the age of 22 years and 5 months. She leaves behind to mourn her early death her husband,eight sisters and five brothers besides a host of friends and relatives. May God comfort and strengthen the bereaved ones in their sorrow.
The body was bought to Ruskin and funeral services were conducted by Rev. Carlsen Saturday afternoon first from the home of Mr. J. P. Jensen and later from the church in Ruskin. Interment was made in the Ruskin Cemetery.
