A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2007, at the First Baptist Church in Junction City for Ingeborg "Inga" Barrick, 63, Junction City, KS. Mrs. Barrick died Thursday, December 20, 2007, at the St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, KS.

Reverend James Callaway and the Reverend Greg and Reverend Kim Rea will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 - 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Burial will follow the service at the Highland Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Junction City and Fort Riley Shrine Club Mini Wheels for local burned and crippled children left in care of the funeral home. Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

Ingeborg was born August 31, 1944 in Oberstdorf, Germany the daughter of George and Gretel (Emerling) Telle.

Ingeborg worked many years as a sales person for Johnson Brothers Furniture Store in Junction City. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Junction City.

She married Gary D. Barrick November 2, 1971.

Survivors include her husband Gary D. Barrick, Junction City, KS; one daughter, Diann Heath and her husband Jimmy of Salina, KS; one son, Gary A. Barrick and his fiance Berinda Garibaldi of Salina, KS; four siblings, George, Ludwig, Gretel and Marianne all of Germany. She is survived by two granddaughters Ciara Barrick and Deanna Garibaldi both of Salina, KS.

The casket bearers will be LTC William Bunting, Cameron Davis, James Nelson, Gary A. Barrick, Jimmy Heath and Brian Charles.

The honorary casket bearers will be Kenneth Malone, George Telle, Ludwig Telle, Karen Pearson, George Barrick, Mike Barrick, Dennis Barrick and Berinda Garibaldi.
