Anna's father died before 1860, and she lived with her mother and older siblings in St. Louis before moving to Calhoun County, Illinois.
Anna married Francis Xavier "Frank" Carey (Keri) on 08 Jun 1880 in Calhoun County. He was a farmer, and they were the parents of 4 children--3 sons and a daughter who died when she 20 months old.
Anna gave birth to the couple's youngest child, Oswald, on 11 May 1888. Anna died exactly one month later when she was 30 years and 2 days old.
She was survived by her husband, Frank; and 3 sons, John, George and baby Oswald.
She was buried on 12 Jun 1888.
After Anna's death, Frank remarried in 1891. The children lived with others in Calhoun County and Missouri in the years following Anna's passing.
