Mrs Julia Jarrell Lovejoy, seventy two years old, of Palermo, who died Tuesday in a Charleston Hospital, was buried in the Lovejoy family Cemetery at Palermo following funeral services Thursday at 2 p.m. at Palermo Methodist Church with the Rev. Ebb Cummings and the Rev. Elijah Adkins officiating. She was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County and was a member of Palermo Methodist Church. Survivors include the husband, Watt Lovejoy; six sons, Dorel and Walter Lovejoy of Alum Creek, James Lovejoy of St. Paris, Ohio, George Lovejoy of Gallagher, W.Va., John Lovejoy of Palermo and Sergeant Harry Lovejoy with the United States Army in Norfolk, Virginia; five daughters Mrs. Glenna Adkins of Alkol Mrs. Hulda Stowers of Hager Mrs. Lena Ryan of Yawkey Mrs. Irene Sowards of East Liverpool, Ohio, and Miss Garnet Lovejoy at home; the mother, Mrs. Evaline Oxley of Huntington; two sisters Mrs. Dora White of Huntington and Mrs. Blanche Lenhart of Russell Ky.; a brother, Frank Jarrell of Huntington ; 29 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
