Mrs Ella Young Died at her home in Shawnee, January 25, after an illness of several months.

Services were held Saturday, January 26 at 4:30 pm at the Presbyterian church in Chandler. They were conducted by Rev Germany, pastor of the Wesleyan Methodist church, Shawnee, assisted by Rev J Houser Prichard, pastor of the Presbyterian church, Chandler. The choir of the Presbyterian church and Mrs Kenneth Jarrett, soloist, accopanied by Mrs R B Erwin furnished the music.

Mrs Young resided in Chandler a number of years ago but of late she had been making her home with her sister, Miss Rose Newell, in Shawnee. She was a member of the Presbyterian church, the Order of the Eastern Star and has long been active in the various Federated Study clubs of the state.

Mrs Young was also a sister of Mrs John Gayman in whose home she has visited many times through the years and there she made many warm friends in Chandler.

Among those from out of town who attended the funeral were: Mrs Roy Oliver, Mrs Grace Stephenson, Mr and Mrs J T Barnthouse, Oklahoma City; Mrs Zola Brently and Mrs George Boggs, Shawnee; Mr and Mrs Louie Saulwocter, Meeker.
