Funeral services for Mrs. Olga Mae Byram Horn, 88, of Tallulah were held Tuesday, April 11, in the First Baptist Church in Tallulah with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah.

Mrs. Horn died Sunday, April 9, 2000, in the Parkview Medical Center in Vicksburg, Miss., after a lengthy illness. She was born in Ida, La., and had lived in Tallulah for 78 years. She was a graduate of Tallulah High School and was a retired teacher and school bus driver for the Madison Parish School system. She was also a member and Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church in Tallulah. She was also a member of the Madison Parish Home Demonstration Club.

Survivors include her husband, Otto M. Horn, of Tallulah; three daughters: Betty Todd and husband Robert of Lafayette, Donna Hutchings and husband Hal of Bossier City, and Judy Guillot and husband Gary of Baton Rouge; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Dr. George Byram, of Haynesville; and one sister Marguerite Whitehead of Shreveport.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gaines Byram and a sister, Betty Lapari.

Pallbearers were John "Jay" Byram, Bob Lowery, John Byram, John Clark Todd, Robert Todd V, John Chessley Hutchings, and Michael Horn Hutchings.
