Attack Fatal to Denning Nelson
Rush County Man Dies Enroute to Hospital
Denning Nelson, 54 prominent Rush cnty [county] farmer and vice-president and director of the Arlington State Bank, died at 3:55 p.m. Monday while being taken to the memorial Hospital in Rushville after he had suffered a heart attack at his home at 2:45 o'clock.
Mr. Nelson was a charter member of the Arlington Lions Club and a member of the Arlington Christian Church.
His home was two miles southwest of Arlington. He was born in Rush county June 27, 1892, the son of John A. and Murley F. (Offutt) Nelson. On June 27, 1925, he was married to Helen E. Mull of this city who survives with a son, John Nelson of near Arlington, and a granddaughter Cynthia Kay Nelson.
Funeral rites will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Wyatt and Moore Mortuary in Rushville and burial will being Arlington East Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary.
