He married Margaret Lucille Eggers on Sept. 19, 1954.

He is the son of Helen Mull Nelson Hadley and Sabert Denning Nelson all of whom are buried near him. (This information from his son John William Nelson.)

John W. Nelson, 56, Arlington, died in the Rush Memorial Hospital, Rushville, early Sunday, June 15, 1986.

Nelson was a farmer and the district representative of the Lutheran Brotherhood Insurance Co. He is survived by his wife, Marge Nelson; his mother, Helen Hadley, Arlington; two sons; four daughters and four grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Rushville with pastor Dennis Schwalenberg, of the Greensburg Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington East Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Moster and Cox Mortuary, Rushville, from 4 to 8 p.m.today.

The family suggests that contributions for memorials go to the Rush County Mental Health Association.
