DR. LOUIS CUNNINGHAM INSTANTLY KILLED IN AUTO MISHAP

Dr. Louis Cunningham, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Cunningham of Wampum, was instantly killed last night, and his wife was severely injured, when the automobile in which they were enroute to the home of the latter's mother near Martinsburg, West Virginia was wrecked in some manner but a short distance from their destination.

Details concerning the accident were lacking in the telegram sent at 9 p.m. last night and arriving at Wampum at midnight. The father left at once by way of Pittsburgh for the scene of the accident and the details will be available later. The remains will probably be brought to Wampum for interment.

Dr. and Mrs. Cunningham were located for some time at points in Texas and at Alberquerque (sic.), New Mexico until a few weeks ago, when they returned to Wampum by automobile. They only left Wampum recently for the purpose of motoring to the home of Mrs. Cunningham's mother for a visit. The news of the accident comes as a shock to the members of the family and his many friends in Wampum, where he formerly resided and where he practiced for some time, before going west.
