Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, LA—Thursday, 23 July 1964

Alford, William F.—Died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday [July 22] at the Clinton Infirmary from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He was 53 years old, a resident of Ethel [East Feliciana Parish] and a native of Mississippi. Body at the residence of Mrs. Bobbie Addison in Greensburg. Religious services at the Pine Ridge Baptist Church at 10 a.m. Friday. Interment at Pine Ridge Cemetery under direction of Hollabaugh-Spindle Mortuary, Denham Springs [Livingston Parish].

Survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie Alford of Ethel; five sons, Ernest Ray Alford, Freddy Alford and Earl Alford all of Ethel, Charles Ray Alford of Zachary, and Carlie Alford of Baton Rouge; two step-sisters, Mrs. Ronella Easley of Stonypoint, and Mrs. Jeanette Duran of New Orleans; three stepbrothers, Hubert, James and Buford Deerman, all of Abita Springs; and three grandchildren.
