W. O. Deatherage, 98, Dies at Agency
William Oliver Deatherage, 98-year-old retired farmer, died yesterday at his home in Agency. Born in North Carolina, Mr. Deatherage had lived in the Agency community most of his life. He was a member of the Agency Christian Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lena Turner, Mrs. Bessie Foster and Mrs. Fannie McCray, all of St. Joseph, and two sons, Robert Deatherage, St. Joseph, and Jesse Deatherage, Titusville, Fla. The body was removed from the H. A. Sullins mortuary in Gower, Mo., and taken to the family home in Agency today.
