WILLIAM SALTER DIES AFTER AN OPERATION
William Salter, formerly of So. Bountiful, but the past four years a resident of Midvale, died Wednesday night at St. Mark's hospital after two operations--one performed Monday and the other Wednesday, the day he died--for rupture with which he had been troubled for some time past.
Deceased was born in South Bountiful, 40 years ago on the 15th of last month. He was the son of William and Ellen Cleverly Salter.
Mr. Salter is survived by a widow, Beatrice Brunson Salter, and three children [William Albert, Vivian and Marjorie].
The remains were brought to Holbrook-Smedley undertaking parlors to be prepared for burial.
Funeral services will be held in the South Bountiful Meeting house, Monday, at 1 p.m.
