Mrs. William F. Diedrich, 72, of the town of Stockbridge, died Thursday morning, May 21, at Calumet Memorial Hospital at Chilton after a long illness. She had been confined to the hospital for the past eight weeks.

Born in the Town of Stockbridge on Oct. 10, 1886, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Preissner, she was married to William Diedrich Nov. 2, 1907 at St. Elizabeth Church all her life and also a member of the Christian Mother Society, and an officer of the society for a number of years.

Survivors are her husband; 10 children, Mrs. Ray (Rose) Ecker and Mrs. Hilary (Monica) Ecker of the town of Stockbridge, Mrs. Marvin (Marion) Amel and Leonard of Malone, Mrs. Howard (Dorothy) Rather and Leo of Fond du Lac, Hugo at home, Nicholas, William and Robert of Chilton; four brothers, Frank and Henry of town Stockbridge, August of Mt. Calvary and Richard of Sherwood; 23 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. One sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at the Pfeffer Funeral Home in Chilton and at St. Elizabeth Church at Kloten. The Rev. Raymond Conrad, assistant pastor officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
