Eddie was known as a Jack of all trades. He spent a lot of time hearding sheep when he was young. With his team of horses (Dobin and Puss) he put the first water line up to the St. George airport on the black hill. He worked for the City of St. George and also with his team he cleared and leveled the city park on 400 east 200 south. There he also worked running the diesel generators to produce power. He built homes for awhile. He worked for Arizona Public Service as a trouble shooting lineman. He helped develop the Dixie REA organization and was the lineman. He bought Atkinville from Jack Atkin and tried his hand at farming/ranching. He moved to Beaver Dam Arizona then to Littlefield He always raised a garden and was known for his melons. He did whatever it took to provide for his family.He later moved back to St. George Utah.
