I have always had a fasination with the graveyard. My Mother armed with the good kitchen broom a shovel and a rake made sure part of memorial day was spent cleaning the local cemetery. No matter where we lived. My Dad made sure my brother and I knew how to use a shovel and we always volenteered to help dig graves. If we dug the grave the family didn't have to pay for it. I have helped dig graves in the Beaver Dam (very rocky), Littlefield (very dry sand),and Mesquite cemeteries. I have even dug a couple by myself start to finish. I am LDS and live in the Overton, Nevada area.
