Mrs. Johanne Loeffler Bingham Bodily, 60, of Maeser, died suddenly in the Uintah County Hospital today (Thursday) at 4:00 a.m. The cause of her death was given as cerebral Hemmorhage. She was the wife of Joseph Henry Bodily and has been an active member of the LDS Church, genealogical Society, and the D. U. P.
Mrs. Bodily was born in Lichtenstein, Germany, a daughter of Gustav Herman and Emma Demmler Loeffler, on July 10, 1892 and received her education there.
She married H. L. Bingham, who had been there as a missionary, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, February 1915. After the death of Mr. Bingham, in 1928, she married J. H. Bodily, and has resided in Maeser since then.
She is survived by her husband and six children: Herman Loeffler Bingham, Broadview, Montana; Mrs. Robert Farley, Vernal; Mrs. Lyle Christensen, Moscow, Idaho; Lyle Ray Bingham, Pine Bluff, Arkansas; Mrs. Don Thomson, Kinbridge, Virginia; There are six step-children:Reed Bodily and Owen Bodily, Vernal; Sterling Bodily, Maeser; Carl Bodily, Bountiful; Keith Bodily, Boise, Idaho; and Mrs. Glen Fowls, San Diego, California.
The body was taken to the Vernal Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at the Maeser Ward Chapel on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Services will be conducted by the Maeser Second Ward Bishopric. Burial will be in the Maeser Ward Cemetery.
