Beverley Chenoweth Burns- 1917-2010 - Graveside services for Beverley Chenoweth Burns, 92, will be conducted on Friday, January 29, 2010, at 1:00 PM at Pine Crest Cemetery in Mobile, AL. The Reverend Peter Cunningham will officiate. Mrs. Burns, who was born on March 15, 1917 in Mobile, died on January 26, 2010. Survivors include her son, Robert Lawrence Burns; her daughter, Beverley Burns Childress; and her son-in-law, George Boyd Childress of Auburn, Alabama. Mrs. Burns retired from the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donation be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 106 Providence Street, Mobile, AL 36605 or Magnolia Place, 1553 Professional Parkway, Auburn, AL 36830.
