Services for Cecil Allen Norris, 89, of Aspermont will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with Bob Phillips and Kenneth Norris officiating.

Burial will be in Aspermont Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Aspermont.

He died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002.

He was born June 23, 1912, in Aspermont and was a lifelong resident of Stonewall County. He managed the family grocery business as a young man. He was a farmer and rancher in Stonewall County for more than 50 years and was a Stonewall County commissioner for 22 years.

He married Nancy Lee Fletcher on Jan. 6, 1934, in Swenson. He was a member of the Church of Christ and participated in the Cattlemen's Round Up for the West Texas Rehabilitation Center for many years.

One grandchild and one great-grandchild preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Tracy of Midland; a daughter, Nan Campbell of Odessa; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
