Miss Goodspeed became the wife of Philip Amidon, sometimes spelled Ammidown, on November 27, 1788 at Hardwick. Philip was the son of John and Sarah (Hastings) Amidon born January 16, 1749 and died August 11, 1796. A daughter, Sally, died on September 13, 1828 at Hardwick age 39 years.
