HOBBS, N.M. Services for Roy N. Magee, 72, of Hobbs will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Chapel with Sid Butler officiating.

Burial will be in Prairie Haven Cemetery under the direction of Bethany Funeral Home of Hobbs.

He died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2000.

He was born Dec. 15, 1927, in Kiefer, Okla. He married Billie J. Teague on June 19, 1972, in Seminole. He had been a resident of Hobbs for the past 50 years and was employed by Gulf Oil as a maintenance supervisor, from which he retired. He was a member of Nadine Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a stepson, Jimmy Dunlap of Odessa; and a brother, Rex of Hobbs.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
