He was born Aug. 23, 1893 at Anderson, Mo., and had been a resident of Kiefer for the past nine years having moved there from Sand Springs, [Oklahoma].

A retired farmer, he had worked for Angus Valley Farms near Sand Springs, retiring in 1967.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; four sons: Ray Magee of Kiefer, Ralph Magee of Tucson, Ariz., Roy Magee of Hobbs, New Mex., and William R. Magee of Anchorage, Alaska; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services are pending and will announced by Owen Funeral Home, [Sapulpa].

Services for Charley S. "Fibber" Magee, 88, of Kiefer will be held Thursday at 2 pm in First Baptist Church of Kiefer. Officiating will be the Rev. Rex Hecox. Interment will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens, [Sapulpa] under direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Serving as casket bearers will be C. D. Magee, Boyd Denton, Chessie McIntosh, Bobby Harden, Grant Sivadon, and Gene Sivadon.
