Ernesto "Neto" Garcia, 79, a retired small business man, fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003 at a local hospital.
Funeral: 10 am Monday at All Saints Catholic Church.
Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Rosary: 5 pm, Sunday in Mount Olivet Chapel.
Ernesto Garcia, was born Sept. 20, 1924, in Fort Worth. He was recognized for his devotion through services in the Mexican-American community, by contributing time and resources to the community by active participation in various civic, youth, church and political organizations.
Neto was preceded in death by his parents, Leopoldo and Julia Garcia, brothers, F.J. and Marcelino Garcia, sister, Beatrice G. Zamaripa. He was a wonderful uncle, a great cook and a good friend to all who met him.
Survivors: brother Eulalio Garcia, sisters, Teresa Garcia, Vicenta Zamaripa and Cecilia Ruiz-Moreno, all of Fort Worth, numerous nieces and nephews.
