Died: 03-27-2008 Mary Alice Hafley (March 27, 2008) Mary Alice Hafley of Sweetwater, passed away at 9 p.m., Thursday, March 27, at Sweetwater Hospital. She was a member of South Madisonville Baptist Church. She was 74. Preceded in death by: husband, Rev. Olen Hafley; sons, David and Dennis Hafley; parents, Rev. Lloyd Lee and Gussie Jane Land Moses. Survivors include: daughters-Dianna McCosh and Denise Dawson, both of Sweetwater; Six grandchildren; Eleven great-grandchildren; Sister-Anna Ruth Hill of Sweetwater; Brothers-Ernest Moses and Roy Lee Moses, both of Englewood; Larry Moses of Athens; and Special friend-Diola Hutsell of Tellico Plains. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Monday, at South Madisonville Baptist Church, with Rev. Joe Hicks and Rev. Rick Harris officiating. Interment will be in Short Creek Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:30 a.m., Sunday at the funeral home. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Sunday. Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, in charge of arrangements.
